to Botox! Studies have shown that Botox can be a very dangerous procedure. The safety of Botox (Botulinum Toxin) is being looked at twice by the US Food & Drug Administration because they are worried it may cause breathing difficulties and fatality. Here are some more interesting things I have read...

A. It is a class of poisons called "neurotoxin proteins" which paralyze the muscle. If you come into pure Botulinus your respiratory muscles seize up and it usually causes death.

B. Botox was not supposed to treat wrinkles. In 1989 it was given to people who had uncontrollable blinking and misaligned eyes in small doses. Then was given for treatment of "cervical dystonia" in 2000.

C. It doesn't work on all wrinkles. It doesn't work on the wrinkles we get as we age. It works on the wrinkles we get from frowning and the ones we get around our eyes that give our expressions.

D. Most importantly...they use animals to test every batch. Horrible!
